Consultation has concluded
You are invited under s.48 Reserves Act 1977 to lodge written submissions on the intention to grant an easement for the purpose of establishing a road over Lot 3 on DP78964 Local Purpose Reserve (Road) adjacent to 161 Upper Fitzherbert.
The area highlighted in blue below indicates the land that will be subject to the easement in favour of the owner(s) of 161 Upper Fitzherbert. The easement will allow a road to be constructed and for vehicles to pass over the land. Granting the easement relieves Council from liability for the construction and maintenance of the road.
Local Purpose Reserve (Road) indicates the intent to establish the area as road in the future. By allowing the easement and construction of the road the purpose of the reserve is fulfilled. The parcel will remain owned by the Council and subject to the Reserves Act 1977.
Written submissions regarding this proposal must be sent to Hutt City Council, Private Bag 31912, Lower Hutt 5040 or to submissions@huttcity.govt.nz. Submissions in support of or objections to the proposal must be received no later than 6 August 2021. If you require any further information please contact Tyler.Kimbrell@huttcity.govt.nz.
